NMCD is a family-owned and operated Training and Consultant Company based in Texas. With over 43 years of combined collision repair and claims experience, we have established ourselves as experts in our field. Our company was launched in 2014 as a spin-off of our original company, Innovative Providers of America. This parent company is a property & casualty physical damage evaluation company that continues to operate, serving the needs of insurance companies.
At NMCD, we are dedicated to providing top-notch training and consulting services to our clients. Our team consists of highly skilled professionals who are well-versed in the intricacies of collision repair and claims processes. We understand the challenges faced by insurance companies and collision repair shops, and we aim to bridge the gap between the two.

We offer comprehensive courses that cover various aspects of collision repair, including estimating, structural repair, refinishing, and more. A closer look into minority challenges
- The adjacent chart illuminates the lack of jobs and educational participation in communities of color, demonstrating that dropouts tend to occur closer to graduation when students are around 17 or 18 years old. Bridging the skills gap that this creates is the challenge, we are focused on, tackling the blue-collar stigma.
- There are various theories as to why the skills gap is wider than it has ever been. As Rowe said himself, “Over the last 30 years, America has convinced itself that the best path for most people is an expensive, four-year degree.” this totally discards trades and skilled positions. Others feel that parents are discouraging their children from pursuing trades-type jobs. Some say that young people today desire office jobs over manual labor or view such occupations as hazardous to their health. We are showing that there is another way, that trades can provide secure, lucrative employment.

However, it is important to acknowledge that not all individuals are suited for or have access to higher education. Many young minority men and women face numerous challenges, including financial constraints, lack of educational resources, and limited support networks. These obstacles can hinder their ability to pursue a college degree and subsequently limit their prospects.
- While a college degree may be advantageous, it is essential to recognize that it is not the only path to success. There are several alternative options that can help young minority men and women build fulfilling careers and contribute to society

- In 2017 the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety assisted in supporting our training efforts with a renewable license agreement for their content as it relates to highway safety, including research and critical crash videos. Institute crash testing video content is included in our training curriculum.
- Thanks to CCC One Solutions for extending support with their national leading auto damage estimating software, with their web-based up-to-date real-time parts data based, students can appreciate the overall daily appraisal process same as it would be working for an insurance company or collision center.
- Walker Auto Body in Dallas Texas is an established African American-owned and operated collision repair center that has partnered with us since 2014 providing their repair shop for live shop tours and hands-on training classes. Walker also provides damaged vehicles and training props for all of our onset classes.
- Since 2015 Media-Tech institute Dallas TX. Has supported and provided us with their training facility space during our training season, Media tech is a full-scale media and audio training school. The company has three locations, Dallas, Houston, and Los Angles.
